Outplacement

Laying off employees in a company represents a difficult decision for the employer and a huge change for the employee. In this challenging time, it is useful to show that employer and employee are one team. How to provide redundant employees and teams with professional support? The answer is an outplacement service.

A challenging process with the support of experts

Cpl specialises in outplacement services and in providing support to employees at all stages of their career. Our unique outplacement program begins at the client's company with one-on-one training of the executives who will be responsible for the organization's layoff process. Cpl not only provides its clients with support for laid-off employees, but also with professional preparation and planning for the managerial staff's activities in the areas of communication and difficult employee interviews.

During the outplacement process in the client's company, we also place great emphasis on the preparation and detailed analysis of the client's company profile, as well as on the needs and goals of the laid-off employees. Cpl consultants prepare an individual outplacement program each time, taking into account the needs of the laid-off employee or the specificity of the group affected by the downsizing. These activities allow for effective customization of training tools that will be able to support the employee in planning a new career path. It is a process by which redundant employees are released step by step until they find a new job.

Cpl offers two forms of ouplacement:

  1. Individual outplacement - recommended for professional participants as well as middle and senior management

  2. Group outplacement - includes group workshops that prepare participants for the process of finding a job quickly.

Cpl offers its clients, among other things, training to manage difficult emotions, building self-awareness of one's own potential and motivation, interviewing without secrets and other workshops tailored to the group of participants.

The outplacement programme prepared by Cpl includes:

  • a detailed analysis of the employee's competencies,

  • assistance in writing/editing the CV,

  • preparation for a job interview,

  • labour market analysis and identification of potential companies where the employee can apply for a job,

  • building a network of business contacts on professional portals,

  • creating awareness of employees building their own career path.

Outplacement is a tool whose primary goal is to provide the necessary support to the dismissed person - both psychological and material. If used consciously, it can significantly reduce the impact of the redundancy process on employees and shorten the period of searching for a new job. An employer who provides care for his employees in the final stages of their employment will always find favour on the market, not only with former employees but also with future employees.
